Especially if the style of the song was like Growing Up in the Gutter.

I think Radioactive wasn't as good as Trunk Muzik/Returns is because the label had their hands on it to much. His next studio album (Love Story I think it's called) should see those radio friendly attempts and realize it was a mistake.
Same for Slaughterhouse.

Trunk Muzik Returns is fucking godly. It also shits on every other mixtape/album/EP Yela has EVER made. EVER.

The original Trunk Muzik is so much better than Trunk Muzik returns. Honestly. TMR was nice, but it doesn't compare to me.

How so? Trunk Muzik Returns is better in literally every aspect. There is not a SINGLE bad song on the entire mixtape (and yeah, Tennessee Love was a good song, I just don't love it like I do the others). And are you talking about Trunk Muzik or Trunk Muzik 0-60?

I was a big fan of the original Trunk Muzik, also liked 0-60.

I wasn't as into TMR. I don't know, Way Out and FAST RIDE or Pop the Trunk???

Hustle, Tennessee Love, Fame, Catfish Billy, or I Wish, Trunk Muzik, Good to Go, IDK.

I was just feeling Trunk Muzik more.

Pop the Trunk was great and definitely better than Way Out and FAST Ride. But Pop The Trunk was one of the best on the whole mixtape. Catfish Billy shits on the entirety of Trunk Muzik 0-60.

I was only really feeling Firestarter, Catfish Billy, Rhyme Room, Fame, and Tennessee Love.

It was alright. Maybe I'm just bias for the original Trunk Muzik, but to me it just wasn't as well put together.

How did you not like Hustle? The entire verse was one gigantic extended metaphor. Fucking hype ass shit. FAST Ride had a fantastic beat and great verses (hook was meh). And Gangster was pretty good. Big Henry and ASAP did surprisingly well. Each of the verses showed a different part of the gangster lifestyle. Yela was the bystander, or the friend of the gangster. ASAP was the "laid-back" type gangster, while Big Henry was the hardcore thug type gangster. Box Chevy 4 was interesting. I can understand you not liking that one. Way Out had the hypest beat and hook. The verses were pretty good too.

Honestly, Trunk Muzik had a bigger impact but Trunk Muzik Returns was better. Not by a lot, but it was more cohesive and the whole atmosphere of the album was great as fuck. Alien redneck pimp shit.

His rapping/hook game was on point too.
