This is the thing, I just think Skylar on a "dark twisted" Em song would seem so forced.

Em should keep Skylar at bay and use someone on the hook that isn't too compatible-- the opposite of "dark and twisted". Someone who is not a too obvious of a choice but who is edgy and who can add an interesting dimension to the song.

Meh, I still think Skylar is the best choice, I really don't see what's so forced about it. Both have written really dark shit. Put them on a dark song, you get instant chemistry.

One of the reasons why Stan was a good song was because Dido was an unpredictable choice. The optimistic/hopeful lyrics of her song weaved into Em's dark lyrics just added that dimension.

On a different not, I'm thoroughly surprised by the lack of fake tracklists and covers so far. IIRC, there were tons for Relapse 2 and Recovery. I guess it's a little too early.

I wouldn't compare Dre's involvement to a hook singer. Dre's the boss so he's unavoidable and I don't know a hip hop fan who wouldn't want a classic Dre beat. Em's current hook singers are interchangeable. People couldn't even tell Liz and Skylar apart. And the last Rihanna and Pink features were uninspired. He needs to mix it up for MMLP2.

He probably hadn't heard Berzerk then. Even still he seems like the type to say what he wants no matter who he hangs with.

Damn, this put me down cause in know the dudes been kickin' with Em a lot especially since they went on a tour together and I know how much of a Stan he is. He probably weaseled his way into hearing a few tracks and ended up being disappointed. I really hope I'm wrong on this one...

I knew he was a Stan, at least a Relapse Stan for you sure but it was still surprising that he tweeted it to the world even if he thought so, then you said he's an asshole and I read some of his other tweets and now it makes sense.

In addition, if this reaction was ONLY to Berzerk, why didn't he tweet it back when the song came out? This worries me that dude has heard more shit and didn't like it, not that his opinion is end all but damn.
