I don't think United had a choice after the game with Liverpool to be honest... Definitely on point about the buy-out clause earlier though.

We didn't do too bad. Some quality players coming in (Schurrle, Willian, Eto'o), but a solid CDM would have been great. Someone who is disciplined and can distribute the ball from defence to our attacking 3. I know we have van Ginkel and he's good, but he's young and inexperienced at this level. Lukaku going on loan to Everton I have mixed feelings about.

Tottenham had a fantastic window. Sunderland also brought in some quality players, they could finish close to mid-table this season.
