Having seen the thread from 2010, I absolutely had to make this to see what you guys think now, and allow you to explain what was going through your mind at release that apparently you feel so drastically different about now.

It sucks.

Generic beats, boring subject matter, forced punchlines and bad flow/ voice.

I listen to it as much as Encore and Infinite, which is a couple times a year and I skip most songs.

I gave it a five, which is generous. I considered not even voting.

Anyway tbh my rating for this album is a 6. I like the album a lot don't get me wrong but as a whole project it falls flat. It doesn't feel very cohesive, it feels like a compilation of Em songs. Not saying the songs are bad though, because many of the songs individually range from ratings of 8-10 imo. Also there were some problems with some of Em's writing, Em's punch game wasn't really soild (corny punchlines and the way he delivered them could have gone a bit smoother) Nothing too big though. I know there are lots of complains about his hoarse delivery, I really didn't mind it, sure he may have gone overboard but to me it doesn't hurt it as much.

But yeah that's just how I feel. I still very much enjoy it though.

I've always liked Recovery, just not as much as his first three. I'd give it a 7.
