Sounds like a perfectly accurate description of MBDTF.

Now, care to explain your statement, dipshit?
@Kill You, I never compared the two. Of course MBDTF is artistic, it's art. Hurrr. All that artificial weed clearly fried that brain of yours.

Well, I'm a big Kanye fan, and I like MBDTF a lot.
But I wouldn't say MBTF has a truly consistent focus or set of themes... it's pretty much Kanye exploring what he always explores, just slightly grander... what I do love is his... kind of, manic/abstract inspiration for the album; in terms of turning dreams and visions in to songs...
But it's a loose concept album with a pretty pretentious metaphor... some brilliant production, some brilliant rapping... but, I couldn't even pick one song and say "this is groundbreaking" or "this is genius"... they just all range from great-very-great but... it's just not in the same league at all for me. But, whatever, to each his own yo.
I agree they are in different leagues, if only because I think MMLP is actually perfect in terms of execution and MBDTF falls slightly short of that
I'm curious to read how you would compare MBDTF with TES, which I think is a far more interesting question.

*waits for a serious question*![]()
Does any hip hop album come "remotely close" in your opinion? I'm genuinely curious, and don't say "The Eminem Show".
To MMLP? Not that I've heard...
I've never heard such consistent themes carried throughout an album so daringly, originally, uniquely, artistically and it all sounded so varied yet cohesive... It's just an absolute powerhouse.
There's nothing like it.
Some of my other favourite albums which I could mention in the same sentence without laughing though would be... Black on Both Sides... Internal Affairs... but certainly not MBDTF.
