How are opinions stupid?
I honestly feel like it's slightly better tbh. The only songs I really listen to from Recovery are Almost Famous, Going Through Changes, Cold Wind Blows, On Fire, Untitled, So Bad, Session One, and Ridaz.....
From Encore, I listen to Evil Deeds, Never Enough, Yellowbrick Road (better than any song from Recovery imo), Mosh, Puke, Rainman, Spend Some Time, Mockingbird, Like Toy Soldiers, Encore, One Shot 2 Shot, Crazy in Love, We As Americans, Love You More'.... I prefer many of these songs over Recovery.

Look here closet cleaner,
Most of our beef with Recovery isn't that it's mainstream (even though a few songs are), it's the fact that it's Eminem having a split-personality crisis on an album, with everything from the production to the themes being just as big a cluster-fuck as his emotions.
Inconsistent production throughout, incoherent themes/thoughts, and Eminem dumbing down his lyrics and delivering some of his worst punchlines EVER.
Now, don't get me wrong, about half of Recovery is pretty good, it's just that it doesn't mesh well with the other half, creating such a cluster fuck of an album. And even the better songs have a few flaws in them.
I think the only people who genuinely like Recovery THAT much are Eedee, Mr Changes, and Mr DGAF
real talk
