I couldn't give a fuck if Messi looks bad ass. I've been to a couple NFL games when I've been in America and really there is no atmosphere. People spend a fortune on fast food and tacky things but there is no hatred between teams. Compare that to the biggest football rivalries where cities are completely divided in every day life e.g Boca Juniors vs River Plate, Rangers vs Celtic, Feberbahce vs Galatasaray. America has nothing like these for ANY sport. Even the games broadcast on TV, I've tried watching four Super Bowls and literally everyone I know says the same thing: "what is the fuss all about"? It's just filled with adverts and it's so commercialised. Really comparing a football player to an American 'football' player is stupid as it's two different sports.

I like America and the people that I've met there have been great so I know how much that sport means to you people (most people elsewhere think it's shit tbh) but ill respect your opinion.

Maybe I'm just missing something great about it but I'll stick to proper football.

I live in Nc and everybody in Charlotte loves Cam and the Panthers. Atmosphere is good on game days too. Maybe you went to some teams game and they have had losing seasons for years and their fan base doesn't really care.

hahahahahahaha. Dude if you think NFL rivalries aren't vicious then you're lying about being at a game. I live near philly and Eagles fans are known for literally fighting anyone who roots for the opposing team. Fuck outta here. The crowd fucking roars at nfl games.

Hahaha well done they fight! There's a lad from Poland on here who posted earlier. He'll tell you about fighting there between football clubs and hooliganism. Mate with the most vicious football rivalries there's fucking murders. I live in Glasgow which for years has been the murder capital of Europe and one of the biggest reasons that is is because of the football rivalry which dominates the city. The two teams represent religions (Rangers Protestant, Celtic are Catholic). It's deeper than sport. It's the same abroad where politics come into play. In Buenos Aires Boca Juniors are the working class team, River Plate were established as a little higher class. That's what fuels the hatred there.

Could careless about American Football, I just wanna see Em and that's it lol, I think I've never sat and watched a full American Football game, it's so boring. One guy gets tackled down and there's like 5 minute commercials afterwards. Futbol is the most popular internationally wise, its a proven fact lol.

I meant more so with NFL, imo. It's really a matter of opinion.

Especially the anything can happen part. So many variables. And strategically, one teams plans go head on against the other teams over and over every play. It's beautiful, really.
