It's that screen though that makes it so expensive. They're kind of literally fucked.

But they aren't because of their 3DS money machine.

yeah i bought my wife one last may and returned it after about a week with it.

straight outta the box it needed a 45 min update. Then when i popped in the super mario game it needed another 25 min update no joke. To top it off, video quality blows. it has access to the web netflix and youtube. But watching a youtube video would look better on a phone than on the touchpad. Picture gets stretched and with nintendos choice of a low res screen it shows.

lily uploaded some pics of us on the sd card, and when viewing them something as simple as pinch zooming is not present. it lacks multitouch in 2013??!!! And battery life on that thing, jesus it was a pain in the ass. For it being this "next gen" system its pretty lackluster. Heck even the rep at best buy wasnt even surprised when we returned it.

Yeah for "next-gen" Wii U is very poor. It's more like a current-gen system.

It is a next generation video game system by definition, but it has current generation technology in it.

we tried our best to love it. but nintendo isnt the same company i used to know.
Wii u brought nothing to the table, i tried zombie u and no game just felt right on it.

Nothing huge.. but kinda a neat video on the beta version of Xbox One Dashboard.

That's cool, but I've always liked the fact that you can use the Xbox Guide to pause cutscenes you don't want to skip. This kind of eliminates that, but oh well, small price to pay to be able to use the Dash and play at the same time.

Well, the girl I'm about to start dating says if I get an Xbox One then she won't talk to me again lol. She wasn't serious but she changed my mind lol. Just kept saying why the PS4 is superior (she is a HUGE gamer, been gaming as long as I have which is all my life) so I said fuck it, I'll get that first lol.

I see why the PS4 is better...I'm just really uncomfortable about leaving those awesome exclusives it has. And idk about having to suddenly pay to play PSN but 5 bucks a month for a shitton of free games is certainly worth it.

Right now you either get it for $50 for a year or pay for 3 months at a time. That might change since you need it for PS4.
