It happened with Recovery, the opposite happened with Relapse.

Yeah you're right, it happened to me, at first I loved Recovery, it was his best album to me and Relapse his worst (but I was just starting listening to Em's albums tho). Now I consider Relapse a masterpiece (not objectively his best album of course) and Recovery just a really good album. But I can't picture me hating Berzerk. Maybe I'll like it less in a few months, but I hope it will be because the rest of MMLP2 is 100x better.

At worst, Bezerk is going to be one of those songs you never really seek out, but will let play if it comes on shuffle.
It doesn't have any of the little annoying punchlines, or the grating beat, or any of the other minute annoyances that are responsible for the hate some songs get after frequent listens.

It sounds like WBD. Except that WBD is the worst Recovery track while Survival's lyrics and flow are fucking dope.

I dont think its a leftover, but it does have the overall sound that Recovery had. It could have easily been on the album.

Not sure. It's part of the problem. As I said before though, I like survival too. I'm thinking (hoping) people will look back more fondly of it later.

Depending on how MMLP2 sounds, they'll love it or hate it.

But with the way Berzerk sounds, I think they'll hate it for the shouting.
