I listened to the leaks of Relapse, Recovery and BME,
with this album i want the feeling i had when i first put in the CD of MMLP.

You made a great point haha what I did with recovery was that I waited a few hours after it leaked then asked you guys (TR) what were 2 of the best songs and then downloaded everything but didn't listen to those 2 songs so when I had the physical album I could still have something to be excited about

Its the whole experience, go to the store, buy the cd, go home,
unpack the cd, look at the booklet, put in the cd and listen to it the first time.
Thats what i did with SSLP, MMLP, TES and Encore.
I dont know how old you are, but maybe you are one of the
internet generation who dont know how it was without.
You dont have to consume everything immediately only because you can.
There is not much excitement to it. And with Ems album i want to feel how i felt back than,
because with all the illegal dl and leaks thats became very rare to me.

but i also had to factor in the age as you did. Because a vast number of young teens and kids download off torrents and p2p sites becuase they're broke and cant afford shit themselves. So they steal it.

Same. It's pretty much inevitable though, so I hope it doesn't leak until maximum a week before the release date.

I actually think the chances of it leaking earlier are higher this time around. My thought is that Activision is going to have the album early, more chances for a leak even earlier. Not that I want that.

oh, i remember when Recovery leaked, i downloaded it and copied songs om my mp3 player. I missed Almost Famous so i didnt even know that this song exists until i read Fred Durst's message on twitter about this song lol

respect. i can see where you're coming from with the whole experience thing, i guess i'm just so excited that if i know it's there it's gonna be pretty difficult for me to not go listen to it if i can. i will still buy the physical CD when it comes out and it will still be a cool experience, although i admit, nothing really beats having not heard an album and going out and buying it, opening it, and hearing it for the first time......so like i said, i can respect this.

i heard most of the Eminem Show before it dropped, some of Encore before it dropped, and all of Relapse and Recovery before they dropped. i still have the experience of hearing both SSLP and MMLP almost simultaneously, i got those two albums within a few days of each other, and I still (somewhat unfortunately) had the experience of hearing most of Encore the day it dropped right after buying it. so i understand what ur sayin, having said all that, if this album leaks (which it will) i'll likely be listening to it as soon as i can, no will power i guess.

I might be able to hold out if it leaks like 5 days early, but if its over a week. I dont think I'll have the will power with all my friends and you guys hearing and talking about it.. As long as its CDQ Ill be good. Still pick it up when it drops and spin the official CD.

I see the album leaking about as early as MCHG, Yeezus, Born Sinner, Watching Movies... all did. I'm guess 10 days or so.

Yeezus leaked like 3 or 4 days early.. Not ten. Magna Carta didn't really leak either with the app. Born Sinner was streamed by Cole almost two weeks early. Cant really compare.
