I didn't think they were that bad, they controlled a lot of the game but the second half they really got hammered. I honestly think they just don't care, Italy is such a frustrating team to watch when they aren't giving it their all. I also don't like the formation, I really think the best formation is to follow Juventus' 3-5-2, they always seem to play their best with that.

I agree about the formation... esp. 'cuz they don't have the kinda player I was talking about which makes it difficult to play 4-4-2 with a trequartista behind the forwards. They definitely lack what they had a few years ago talent wise so they'll definitely have to go for a team/team play.

who were you rooting for? lol

It was complicated like always... lol One of those awkward to watch games 'cuz you have mixed feelings for both teams/countries. Good reasons to support both sides... & solid reasons not to agree with & have issues with both sides as well.

Internationals finally over.

Goodison Park has always been a difficult visit for us, but I think we might just pull this off. 0-1 or 1-2.

I can't see them getting in the game as much without Fellaini tbh. Keep Baines on watch and we could get a win. Hopefully Eto'o performs like the Barca days, with Hazard and hopefully Mata, it looks like a promising season!

Ozil, Wilshere who is as injury prone as anyone and they are far too good for you.

There is a reason Hazard and Mata chose the European champions over you.

Right now? None (Well Özil obv). Perhaps Cazorla. I don't consider Wilshere world class. Theres a ton with potential to be though as the team overall is very very young. Ramsey has had a tremendously good season so far and he is only 22. None would think he would come back as big as he have after he broke his leg. Walcott is way up there, he just needs to work on his finishes a little.

Imo, Wilshere will be one of the best player England have in a few years, maybe sooner if he moves to a huge club.
Imo, Walcott is just anoying, can't stand the guy. Podolski is far better yet he thinks he deserves a central role? Smh.
I still think Wenger will go in the next 2 years, your current situation isn't looking great and there's only so many things you can do ( like buying a Playmaker when you need defensive options and central options ) before fans get fully pissed at you.

The Wilshere situation looked way brighter before he had the injury tbh. He haven't proved himself (hence why he is benched most of the time). And he doesn't need a move, wtf. Arsenal is the best club to develop your talent and Wilshere said he will always stay at Arsenal no matter what. Walcott? Why? Theres nothing better watching Walcott rush past everybody with his pace, he's incredible. And I prefer Podolski as a left winger, his left foot is undeniably one of the best in Europe.

Buying Özil is a smart move, the team needed somone world class for the younger players to look up to and watch. Using him as a CAM with walcott/ox on the right and cazorla/podol on the left. But I agree that the defensive line isn't looking to bright.

I don't think Fellaini's absence will make that much of a difference to be honest, they always seem to step their game up against us. We'll see though, I'm hoping for a win.

It's kinda hard to predict the line up for this one. Frank has played 5 or 6 games in a row, Hazard, Oscar and Eto'o picked up slight knocks during the internationals (although CTV confirmed everyone's fit). Can't see Willian and Eto'o getting a start in their first game for Chelsea. Mata should be in the first eleven.

I'd go with:

Cech
Bane - Terry - Luiz - Cole
Ramires - Mikel
Schurlle - Mata - KDB

Can't stand Walcott, at all, he is definitely not incredible. Overhyped to fuck. Tbh, you would have been better off investing Ozil money into the defence or forward department. Ozil is your best player but you could have bought a lot of talented players with 40m. Cazorla was more than good enough for you.

The most ridiculous thing was Wenger declaring interest in Mata on deadline day tbh. Like he bids 1p above the price, which was stupid as hell, and he goes for players he won't get.

Still not convinced on Schurlle though. Didn't seem too pacey and he hasn't performed to what he can yet imo.

Schurrle's an excellent player tbh. His work rate is exceptional and he contributes a lot to the defence. Do you mean he hasn't looked too pacey at the moment? Because he's certainly a very fast player.

I think we can come away with three point on Saturday, especially now they don't have Fellaini. I hope to see Mata start (he really has to at this point..) and I'd also like to see Azpi get a game.

:b:

And I mean doesn't look too pacey now, I know he is quick. But right now I still don't know why we let Lukaku go, he would have been 2nd choice for me, behind Eto'o.

He will get top assist in PL, and Giroud will be topscorer over RvP #RollyExlusvz

Well hey, you get easier drunk on vodka so you are lucky in that sense. :shifty:

Yup, I hope he can get a good thing going with Giroud tbh!
