I'm praying for his old flow in this album. Royce said some of his songs gave him nightmares, so that's something to look up to. Berzerk is catchy, great beat, but lyrically it's not all that great. I'd kill for a track called R.I.P. Kim. I'm not sure what to think of this album as of right now, but I hope it's at least Relapse level. He dyed his hair and named the new album Marshall Mathers LP 2, so lets hope he lives up to his name.

Eminem is no longer allowed to mention Kim by name.

No trolling either, [Infinite is so boring and such simplistic writing styles.

It's cool, doe

I just think that the highs on Encore aren't that great, and the lows are horrendous, while Infinite have a stability on the quality. The prod on Encore is better, though.

To be honest, I don't see the point in arguing over opinion.

Although people who say Recovery reminds them of SSLP piss me off.

Encore is miles ahead of Infinite. I feel like the only reason like infinite more is because we had nothing to compare it to. With Encore, we had 3 of the best hip hop albums of all time to compare it to.

Cause Kendrick took the bar and raised it up higher for MCs

His high is still really short to me" -Hopsin
(I love Kendrick, but this shit was too funny)

I've never heard of anyone comparing those two--they're not remotely alike. I've seen the sslp/Relapse comparison, though. Theme-wise, Recovery is most similar to Eminem Show.

I think Infinite is better than Encore. The rhyming alone puts above. Ems rhyme schemes on Infinite shit all over Encores. Plus, even though Encore had great moments like Yellow Brick Road, Like Toy Soldiers, Mosh, Mockingbird, Love You More, We As Americans.....it still had Big Weenie, Just Lose It, My First Single, Ass Like That, which are among some his worst official tracks ever.

Infinite didn't hit lows like that. The production was weak but it was made in 96' when the guy was dirt broke, and his rhyming still makes it dope. 313, Infinite, Open Mic, Backstabber, etc.

Infinite over Encore all day.

Mosh is a terrible song though, imo. The beat's alright, I guess. But it's a terrible political song.
