I don't think it's wierd. It's a part of his body, like what he wears and the colour of his hair, it's just something different we notice. It's not like his hair is always hidden. I noticed along time ago.

I wouldn't call it an obsession though. He's just a guy. Everyone changes their hair/sideburn style along with facial hair all the time.
If you had one shot, or one opportunity, to seize everything you ever wanted, would you capture it? Or just let it slip?
