Survival is a well-executed version of Wont Back Down. Could have easily been on Recovery.

TRSS sounds nothing like the rest of MMLP. Berzerk is likely going to be the same idea. IT does have that old school feel to it though. And I think that's the purpose of calling the album MMLP2, cause he's going back to that early 90's sound. Doesn't necessarily mean it's going to sound like the original.

On Berzerk, Eminem's attitude is more in line with MMLP. I don't expect MMLPII to sound just like MMLP, but I do expect for Eminem to be in a similar mind set. On Berzerk Eminem is being goofy, ballsy, and taking shots at celebs like he usually does on his first singles.

It's not all about just good rapping. It's about fitting a theme and having a cohesive album. Recovery wasn't that at all, and I think he knows he needs to come with something better. Survival is cool, but will likely be more suited as a bonus track. The rest of the album could have some great rapping. And Berzerk not being as good rapping wise is your opinion, I think it has great moments and serves its purpose as a 1st single.
