I agree!! lol Kendrick's delivery was weird but not necessarily in a good way. It had this offbeat feel like he would rerecord the verse later on lol

I mean, i dont mind the beat. When done right, minimalist beats can be dope. One of my favourite Pusha T verses is on Tick Tock and that beat is simple as fuck. It just feels like they couldnt fully exploit the spaces the beat gave them and ended up with this.

Kind of disappointed because Kendrick's output has been so amazing as of late that expectations were high and this was a let down. It wasn't a bad track but it wasn't great either. I didn't like the flow or the delivery but I'm not going to complain because at least he's still trying to be different on every track. I'll take one miss when 95% of the time his verses are hits.

K.Dot still did his thing lyrically tho and Pusha T had a great verse
