TES has a lot of throwaway/filler tracks compared to MMLP .. SSLP too .. I mean Superman, Say What You Say drips and even square dance, even though it's not a filler, wasn't really needed after White America .. without me and Business aren't that good either so I don't see people comparing it to MMLP and saying it's just as good just because they like it more .. TES has some of my favourite songs ever and probably the best Eminem song ever but imo it's not better than the MMLP

I agree that MMLP is better than TES, but those aren't throw away tracks or filler. The only one I can agree with is Drips, but I don't get how others are filler.. Superman is a good song and Em's best hoe bashing kind of track, Say What You Say has sick verses/beat, hook is kind of stupid. Without Me is the second best first single he ever put out. Business is another great song, with amazing verses.

TES is a favorite of mine, but The Way I Am, Stan and Criminal > Sing For the Moment, Till I Collapse, White America.

None of those were filler.

Say what you say and drips are fillers .. the other ones are throwaway tracks tbh .. square dance is a good track and not a filler or throwaway but I feel like White America is so much superior that it almost kinda falls flat.

Just cause there are 2 tracks that have similar content doesnt make one useless.. Both are great tracks. With that mindstate, Relapse is filler or throwaway cause all of the murder tracks don't match the better ones like SS&D or Stay Wide Awake..

I was talking about White America and Square Dance. Fair point on Say What you Say, but I still fucking love that track.

the watcher is dope. But i feel it doesnt have that spark that white america has.
if i have the disc playing im more inclined to skip the intro on the chronic over the eminem show.

Every time i crank that album, white americas raw ass beat just knocks my house down.

Em's openers tend to be pretty fucking epic.

It's between Kill You and White America for me, but we've also got Cold Wind Blows and 3 AM.

Knowing that Kill You started MMLP, I can't wait to hear what song starts the sequel.

Oh yeah, on topic: TES >>. IMO, of course.

And I got an Evil Twin

Aone10 wrote:MMLP2 won't suck if you have realistic expectations.

Comparing it to SSLP, MMLP, and TES a.k.a his prime, is just absurd.

At this stage in his career, I can only hope for an album better than Encore, Relapse, and Recovery, and that's what I expect we will get.

I agree. At best, we'll classify it up there as a classic, but I don't think he'll touch his prime. I do think he will for sure top his last three as well.

I do still think he can top SSLP, but thats my opinion.
