I'm seriously starting to think Em is going to do TES2 after this for his 9th album, it will probably be his final album before retiring.

I'm pretty sure one of the reasons Eminem is doing MMLP2 in the first place is because MMLP1 was his most popular and best selling album to date, and was his first diamond record. TES is his second best selling album and it also went diamond about a month or two later. SSLP2 is out of the picture, Encore 2 will never happen, so why not?

Also, look at the mirror schemes he does with his albums.

Personally I think the MMLP2 is going to be his last solo album. I also think that has something to do with the cover and album name because he's leaving his Slim Shady and Eminem personas behind to just be "Marshall Mathers" again.

I'm probably completely wrong but I just have a feeling that's why he's named it this, as obviously at aged 41 it's not going to be the same sort of subject material.

I say there will be no TES2: Curtains Closed or something like that. That whole Show-Encore-Curtain Call-stuff is over. That's what I expect:

I think MMLP2 could be his last one. Why don't end a solo-carrer with a kind of sequel of the carreer's biggest one? (even if I think TES is his peak)
If MMLP2 is a big success it's the best to end with. If it flops, it's hard to come back, so that would be the end? maybe.. so if he don't want to make a recovery2 in 2015 or 16 he will close the whole show with the MMLP2.

I don't think Em named it MMLP2 so he can retire. I think that he finally feels recovered, no pun intended. This is just the beginning. I don't think an artist should have an official last album. He should just keep on doing if he likes it and still feels it. I mean look at andre .. being a pussy for not even trying.
