I noticed that older fans from 35-50+ appreciate Berzerk more (I've seen people give it 5/5) partly because of the references, and partly, because of something like what this reviewer said: "It sounds like it was being played off of a boom box. The bass is pounding and the sampled guitar riff just gets under your skin." a lot of younger people don't know what that feels like. but it's a small thing.
