3. Old Time's Sake - "Dre, I think we'd better go check on their THAYUMBRITCHEYARS, you get the thermometer I'll get the byawndajizz"

Yeah I defend Tech because you don't see an album of Tech consistently doing that for the majority of the songs being called 'classic', 'masterpiece', 'amazing', etc. daily, sometimes in threads not pertaining to it on ANY level. Also, this same album was panned no more than three years ago by the general populous. AND at the same time this is going on, another album is also being put down half of the time along beside of it, in the same exaggerated ways and in the same threads not even pertaining to it most of the time.

Here, let me dumb it down.

Yeah I defend Tech because you don't see an album full of Tech consistently rhyming random things, going off on random stories and talking about killing people in generic lines for the majority of the album being called 'classic', 'masterpiece', and 'amazing' daily, sometimes in threads that have absolutely nothing to do with it. This album was Relapse, which was put down by almost everyone when it first came out up until the release of Recovery. What makes it even worse is that all the while this is going on, the same people that say those things choose to include the exact same things, only negative, about Recovery. Literally, instead of calling it a masterpiece, people call it the worst album of all time. Instead of praising in a thread that has nothing to do with it, people put it down in threads that have nothing to do with it.

So I hope you can see now why I choose to poke fun at Relapse appraisal every now and then and why I don't do the same to a Tech album. Sorry if it offended you

Did you make that at all up because it certainly looks like you did and who are these people you're talking about lol I don't care if you don't like relapse or if you like it but what I don't understand is why it bothers you if people like the album and these threads you're talking about happen with many threads.

I see more members not liking relapse than liking it tbh and instead of bitching make a relapse thread and discuss what you don't like.

I'm not gonna debate this because its been brought up several times, but that on SSLP is very different than it on Relapse.

For one, Em actually maintained natural rhymes on SSLP, whereas on Relapse its far from it. On SSLP it felt like Em was actually telling a story and rhyming very good in it, where as on Relapse its the complete opposite. He's rhyming very well and telling a random generic story allows him to do it.
