I was having a debate with some ppl and we got into a Top 5 dead or alive discussion. It was split about 50/50 between including Em and not. I pointed out that unlike Nas (whom they considered to be GOAT), Em has put out more classics of an average higher caliber. Yes, Illmatic is indisputably one of the greatest rap albums of all time, but what else of Nas has that distinction? Em has 2 of those (MMLP and TES). Anyways to tie it into the MMLP2 discussion, I think that if this album is a classic, then he'll be in a much higher percentage of top 5's.

imo if his next two are great and/or one of them is a classic, I see him having the best discography in hip hop next to outkast .. sure he has Encore and an average Recovery .. but still

I'm not expecting it to top MMLP, that's crazy talk. But I am expecting a good or even great album. And I have no doubt it will at least be good.
