I was having a debate with some ppl and we got into a Top 5 dead or alive discussion. It was split about 50/50 between including Em and not. I pointed out that unlike Nas (whom they considered to be GOAT), Em has put out more classics of an average higher caliber. Yes, Illmatic is indisputably one of the greatest rap albums of all time, but what else of Nas has that distinction? Em has 2 of those (MMLP and TES). Anyways to tie it into the MMLP2 discussion, I think that if this album is a classic, then he'll be in a much higher percentage of top 5's.

It Was Written tbh. Not disagreeing with the rest of your argument, but you can't disregard that album.

@Rev: That's how it's done yo

Nah man, IWW is spotty compared to Illmatic. It's good but it's like the SSLP- great album, but not classic.

@Menzo Yes, I have heard his Westwood freestyle (fucking incredible), I'm not counting his freestyles, only official releases and features.

If we're expecting a BIG 2nd single, I don't believe Survival will cut it.

2nd single will probably be the poppiest, most enjoyable for casual fans song. Don't get your hopes up.

Berzerk has pretty much flopped outside of the States. They've not even released it here in the UK so there is no buzz whatsoever for the album so I'm expecting a big second single, more than likely a Stan-type collaboration.

I'm from mexico and i thought, "wow no one here knows the song" untill the other day at school i pulled out a notebook that i had written "go berzerk" on and my friend said "what does that say'?" and i Said "Berzerk" and he said "oh, The new eminem song right, Yeah its good" The only songs i know that were huge hits here are "Not afraid" and LTWYL, others listen to his other songs but mainly singles, You know With Out me, MNI, TRSS, oh and Lose yourself

Yea but you're in North America mate, that's what saying on an international scale it hasn't sold particularly well. The UK is his second biggest market (in album sales and concerts) and yet despite there only being about five weeks to release there has been no single here. No one watches BET here so the cypher is another thing which'll only benefit North American buzz (if he does the cypher that is).

They really need a BIG second single in October.

I thought Berzerk was supposed to be the radio-ish/marketable song. If we even get a second single, which for some reason I'm not expecting...I thought it would follow the Casual/darker template.

Same.

Would be epic if out of nowhere, we get a new trailer for the album, maybe previewing the second single like with Berzerk.
