But after seeing the cover and hearing Berzerk, this is the first thing with Em i've been excited about since Hell: The Sequel. I'll definately be checking it out.
Also no homo, but it's nice to see him with his blonde hair again.
How you feel about Berzerk?
I still wish he'd tone down the yelling a bit more, he is still doing the shouting thing and he has had this habit ever since post-Recovery where he is so technically impressive that it can sometimes be downright unenjoyable and impossible to get into without actually working really hard to decipher it. Honestly I dunno how casual mainstream listeners could claim to enjoy songs like that because I can barely fucking understand him without about ten listens. Maybe that's just me though. But I like the general vibe and message that he's sending out with it, the beat and the chorus is great, his way with words still remains unbelievable. I only hope he tones it down a little bit on some of the rest of the album, cause it's getting a bit old for me personally. I want to hear some natural humour, and just have him maybe fucking relax a little for at least a song or two. I haven't really properly enjoyed anything he's done since BME, and even on BME, I enjoyed maybe about 40% of the songs naturally. It's not a question of quality, it's just that it's so intense and aggressive that it takes too much of my energy and attention to get into these days.
I'm not sure what he has left to say though, which is a bit of a concern, so hopefully he can impress there. Is there no word of a tracklist or anything yet?
Isn't Hell the sequel, the last thing shady was involved in pre mmlp2? lol
I'm talking about all his collaborations, cyphers, shit like that. "Survival" I haven't re-listened to aside from the one listen, so I hope that isn't on MMLP2 as well.
