you wish that current rappers can compare to Kendrick, he shits on them in every aspect and is doing it the best right now and if you dont see it whether you're a fan of his or not...there's no words to explain how much i disagree with you guys.

That would be like if I went to a third world country and was like I'M THE RICHEST PERSON HERE. Yeah, I would be rich compared to them, but that's just because they're poor as fuck.

"The part I the love most is they need me more than they hate me
So they never take shots, I got everybody on safety"

Drake said in "5 am" that he got everybody on safety because rappers will never diss him, he also says in no "new friends" that he doesn't need new friends and that he'll stay with his ymcmb mates.

while other rappers said that control was bringing competition back into the game, drake said that it was a "joke". he said that Kendrick's album was phenomenal but a rapper sitting on only 1 album doesn't deserve a response from him (he sees kanye as his only competitor) and he asked Pusha, Tyler, Asap, big sean,.. (the rappers mentioned on control) to not work with kendrick anymore (doesn't need new friends huu ?)

Kendrick exposted him as a sensitive/soft and fake rapper because he was contradicting himself in his interviews... he was talking about dissing other rappers but he avoids the beef when a relevant artist goes against him.

Nothing's been the same since control dropped because the verse exposed drake as a "fake" and he basically told him to play at a famous non-competitive game for children (Pin-the-tail-on-the-donkey)

This is amazing. This is the most hyped I've been for every verse an artist releases in a long time.

of course  i just prefer artists who prioritize melody and flow before trying to tie a message into it. but an even supply of both is ideal. it's just that you can tell when a person's trying to tell a story and they don't really care about which flow goes where and if the multis are properly aligned with the beat and such. it's laziness to me, because they don't put nearly as much time and effort into their verses as artists that put every syllable under a microscope. feel me?

No, it's actually the exact opposite. I could write a Tech N9ne verse and pack the entire thing with multis in 10 minutes. But a cohesive verse telling a story involving complex lyricism takes much more time and effort to get it perfect.

Did you really just say that on a Eminem forum?

I think even the hardcore Em stans can honestly say that Kendrick is better right now.

Gibberish is not good. Flow is good and all, but I might as well be listening to fucking german.

Also, I'd just like to say Kendrick is godly. And technically wise, the snippet is pretty good too imo

if that's all it takes to blow you away then i got some katy perry tracks that'll fucking floor you.
fifflaren wrote:Elision, even the haters praise kendrick for his flow
no they don't. kendrick has a few notable ones here and there but they're few and far between, just like any artist in his bracket.

How is that the exact opposite? Do you even check to read my post any more before making it a reply? because talking to you is like a fucking automated voice machine.

The whole unga bunga shit. Rest of the verse was okay. Flow was fantastic, though.
