I always feel like Americans bitch about gas prices. Sure it's expensive but we pay $8,75 (I did some calculating) for a gallon here in the Netherlands (and that is at the moment).

maybe, but in my case its expensive as shit here in texas.

im sure this marketing strategy is made for the younger more financially capable demographic.
But for the folks who dont live with their parents, and pay their own bills and food $3.50 a gallon is more than enough reason not to go on a driving spree for a hard to find eminem concert.

The main reason for the different release dates, I think, are due to the differences in "structure" of the offical charts in each country. For example, in the US, Billboard (through Soundscan) count sales Monday-Sunday, and publish them every Thursday. In Sweden, on the other hand, sales are counted Wednesday-Tuesday, and are published them every Friday.

Labels tend to release albums on the first (or second) day of a "chart week", in order to maximize its sales, and thus its chart performance. Nowadays, it's just "a standard" though, so it doesn't even have to be about maximizing sales.

Can't wait for the tracklist! That's what I'm most excited for, before hearing the album. I'm not too bothered about a second single. Even though Survival is a bonus track with COD, we've still heard 2 songs already from this album cycle. It means that whenever we hear the album, that's an extra song we haven't
heard. Most of you are more worried about album sales when it comes to a 2nd single. Why? Just enjoy the music. Just because you class yourself as a Stan, doesn't mean you need more proof to explain why Eminem is one of the biggest artists and celebrities in the world. It's already a fact. Just enjoy the music to yourself and the others on here who truly enjoy the music for what it is. Yeah, it's always great to see Em sell big numbers with each album but that's not the enjoyable part. Em WILL do big numbers, it's a given, we all know that. What we don't know is what the album will be like....Will it be good, will it be bad, will it be great? Just enjoy the hype and the album when you first hear it.

Personally, I hope this album is great, whether it's his best or his worst, it's always great to sit back and listen to new Eminem songs.

I found one from just scrolling trough the map around target and best buys but I was lucky. They place only a few gold pins throughout the entire US and I was lucky enough to find one in my state, so its unlikely you'll find one by just typing "eminem" in the search bar because the app only searches for areas around your hometown. You're better off just scrolling through until you spot one.
