never been in such situation, but i guess if he or she deserved it, then why not.. like my uncle.. he's an alcoholic and lives with my granny. i guess my mum went to police once to take him, cause the way he'd behaved made her mad.. i think that's the right way to make him think about what he does, cause there's nothing else to do [even AA didn't help him].


so basically yeah, sometimes it's the only way. :( but i think i'd feel a bit guilty.
