I can't help but love Beautiful, when that song came out some really personal crap was going on in my life and I heard that song and it was so unexpected but I loved it and it helped a bit. That song is one of my favs for not only that but I just in general like the song and it feels like something Em held very close to himself. My other thing I think is that what must have happened in his life during to trigger him to write that song because although he has lots of songs that come from somewhere deep, none share the kinda hopelessness and message that Beautiful provides where he reaches out to his audience. I dunno I'm rambling at this point.

Feel free to feel what you wanna feel.

For me, it doesn't trigger anything emotional in me (no homo). Beautiful to me is like what life means/meant to Dexter, nothing.

Eh. Not sure that analogy works here haha.

It's kind of OFF Topic, but I have to say this: INAD is awesome. Em's verses are awesome. Skylar's hook is great. Clip is great. Everything about it is great. Sometimes I think I don't value this song enough.

It's actually the song that got me into Em and Dre (fresh stan),so much passion and loyalty between the two and like you said, clip is awesome.

+ Skylar Grey :flutter: :flutter: :flutter:

EDIT : Dre's verse is dope yo

It doesn't matter if the Rihanna collabs have been good or bad. It's the principal, you can't put a pop star on MMLP2. Otherwise you might as well call it Recovery 2. Besides another collab with Rihanna (Skylar & Liz) is just a tired, uninspired idea. How about someone new? Change is good.

I think part of it has to do with how well the previous work is received. If LTWYL turned out to be a bust with general listeners, Rihanna wouldn't even be in the discussion.

Definitely. Survival will be a bonus track and there won't be any pop stars featured on the album. Em isn't an idiot, he said that it's a revisit to MMLP so he knows how it needs to sound and who is suitable to be featured. Personally I hope that Jamie N Commons is featured afterall because he's different and sounds good from what I've heard.
But what am I gonna do when the rage is gone and the lights go out in that trailer park?

No apologies is dope but he had written it years before, maybe he wasn't able to write good new songs after Proof died and everything.

But still, We're back and You don't know are very good.

agree.
I always thought most of the reup stuff was written years before, because at time he wasnt able to write anything decent.... delivery was top notch though.
