Eminem wasnt shouting in Way i Am and Criminal, there was still a light tone, think of Till i Collapse and yes even Survival, hes got this minimal shouting tone down which sounds niceb ut his voice didnt sound blown as fuck like it did in Almost Famous and most songs on Recovery

The Recovery shouting sounded bad because of the production, imo. It sounded like he was yelling but he had to because the beats overpowered his voice.

I don't think that's true of Survival. It just sounds like passion.
