I assume everyone has been told to shut the fuck up? We've not really heard anything about what the album sounds like, whereas with Relapse and Recovery we had 50, Paul, Alchemist, D12 members, Royce, various producers and Shade 45 presenters all mentioning what sort of direction Em was taking.

I have a thought. November/2013 it'll be the exact opposite of June/July/2010. Back then, people thought Recovery was a classic, judging the first 3 tracks lmao. People praised the album like crazy when it got released.

Now... a big part of this forum will bash the album by listening to the first 30 seconds of Bad Guy. They'll bash the album without listening to half of it, without thinking of what the fuck they're saying. People WANT to bash, nowadays. It's shameful.

"Cocaine" was dope but I don't get the praise it gets, he used the 'choppy' flow and split bars yet people ignore it.

Beat wasn't very good either, imo.

Agree on beat. But I personally dig his flow and splitting the bars up like that. Makes it seem so much smoother and he doesn't need to add unnecessary "forced" words just to rhyme.

No it won't.

Everyone will go insane when it drops calling it a classic. A year from now it'll get bashed, then in four years it'll be great again.

It's the same with every Em album other than Encore. The subsequent releases allow people to reassess the previous album in retrospect with a much fairer frame of mind.
