I'm sure Eminem can recreate a lot of his earlier 1999-2002 voices, I'm pretty sure the reason why he never does his high pitched voice is because he feels like it sounds stupid. He did a perfect impersonation of his 1999 voice in one of the Relapse interviews. Plus, Berzerk's first verse sounds pretty close to his 2002 voice.

I've been thinking this lately too. Since MMLP2 got announced, i've listened to his entire catalog extensively, including diss tracks and mixtapes. The songs he went hardest on were the diss tracks. It seems that Marshall really is at his best with a fire lit under his ass. The problem is, I don't know if he has said fire anymore to pull off MMLP2 in the capacity that i will enjoy it even close as much as the original.

Yeah, The Art of Rap clip where he was rapping bits of Treach's verse sounded so familiar to Infinite but you can differentiate between the two.

He's a musician, he's had lessons for singing and shit. I'm sure he can play with his voice, but in no way will it sound as natural as it was back in the day.

IMO, when he sings now he comes off too corny. My examples of this are Not afraid, Beautiful (even though, i love the song as a whole), and even on your never over even though...I get why he left that hook corny.

He used to pull off singing awesomely.
