Stans are in denial because of one reason and one reason only. The nostalgic feeling we all have with his first 3 albums. It's the album most of us got introduced to Em and it's like a universal "hip hop opinion". Imo it's the same like saying Pac is not top5. You are automatically gonna get bashed for that, and the only reason is because it's popular to put him into the top5. Sure, there is no doubt that he was amazing, and by no means am I saying SSLP is bad or shit. But Em is able to top it.

I'm not saying that he can top songs like As the world turns or SDGAF, even though I think he can but that's a different story. I'm talking about the album as a whole. Rap god already shits on a lot of his stuff from his prime

These songs are not forgettable. Not at all. If I Had is one of my favorites. But yes, he topped a few songs, that's why I said he "hasn't topped most of the songs". I love everything about SSLP and it has little to do with nostalgia. It's just one of the best albums ever, an absolute masterpiece. I've been listening to it for 10 years regularly and never got tired of it. And I'm not bashing you, you like the album a lot, it's just that you like other things better, so you're good to me. I still respect your opinion, even if it's terribly wrong.

Aside from better production and cohesiveness, one thing Encore has that Recovery doesn't, is a classic moment.

Not really some people do say that. Its all opinion but i never get people saying relapse>SSLP. SSLP is a classic.

MMLP2 most likely wont be better than eminems first 3 albums, but thats not a diss towards the album, the album can still be amazing, its more just stating how good eminem was in his prime.
