beat is dope as fuck and adds to the atmosphere of the god theme he's going for.. i may like that kind of beat more coz i love drum n bass and other dance genres.. but i think people are listening to the beat through gash laptop speakers and judging it through that tbh. or maybe coz they cant mock his lyrics this time round, they're going for the beat instead

Am I the only one who thinks the beat for Rap God is awesome. It allowed many flows and all the change ups were sick.. Def not the best beat in the world but look what he did with it.

I hope those production credits come soon, I'm really hoping Em produced a few tracks himself.

No I love the beat. I was listening last night with my beats turned up loud as hell and the beat sounded so great against all of his flows. It's by no means a typical Em beat, but I certainly wouldn't change it. Maybe not you guys but I'm still convinced that most people are listening on their computer speakers (understandably so) and that is part of the reason for the dislike of it. When you listen on a computer all you hear is that siren and some of the other "high range" sounds. Or maybe it's just me I just love it for some odd reason. I just cannot hear that bass line and not bob my head.

I agree with this. It sounds sooooooo much better with my beats or my system in my truck than it does through the computer speakers. You can hear so many more little details throughout the song.
