It's nice that Rap God went #1 on iTunes, but it's kind of expected. Berzerk did the same and Survival may have, also.

I don't think Eminem will do a million first week. It's really tough to do that right now. I think it would take Berzerk doing a little better + a LTWYL-type song + Rap God and a leak that's not too far away from the release date.

When I said 700k I wasn't really accounting the YouTube Awards / SNL / other interviews. You're right, it could do 850k. Especially if it gets really solid reviews.

But I still think there's a 5% chance or less that he sells a million first week.

No, they wont. Why would they leak something more than 10 days in advance. A couple of days is just fine. And then the album comes out while everyone is still talking about it. If they leak it themselves, it won't be more than 5-6 days before Nov 5.

I still don't think this album does more than Recovery first week. There's hype with Rap God and it seems to be doing well, and Berzerk did pretty good. But I see around 650-700K first week. More than Relapse did but less than Recovery.

I never understood pre-ordering stuff. Does it come the day before usually if you pre-order it???

I always just go to Best Buy the day of the release at 10am and buy the deluxe version in the store to see what it exactly is.
