I hate how todays society is extremely unaccepting and hateful towards people who dont support gay marriage and all that. people that me who think homosexuality is wrong must keep their mouths shut or else EVERYONE will think people like me are assholes and evil people. it has gotten to the point where it is pretty much unacceptable to have our own opinions on homosexuality, we must have the popular opinion. im hoping that this album can stir up the controversy to bring things back similar to how they were in 2000 when people had the right to disagree with homosexuality without getting hate

I mean, freedom of speech should work in both ways. If you're not supportive of gay marriage, you shouldn't be bashed for it as long as you don't harm, insult or look down on gays.

And if you're supportive of gay marriage, people shouldn't insult you either. I know people will disagree with this, but that's how I feel.

Exactly. I dont hate or bash gays, but i disagree with homosexuality and feel it is wrong. I have never bullied anybody over their sexuality at all. It just pisses me off how people feel like i dont have the right to my own opinion, and like you said, freedom of speech should work in both ways and when it comes to anything involving gays, it doesnt.

In case you didn't know tho, Eminem is in support of gay marriage.......he says everyone should equally be allowed to be miserable. Pretty sure he doesn't hate gay people either. I agree tho, everyone should be allowed to have a view and express that view but you're not gonna be able to stop people from thinking you're an asshole, that's their right to think that and an Eminem album isn't going to change their mind lol. Also in my opinion that view is pretty silly, why do u give a fuck if two gay ppl get married?

I never said Eminem was homophobic or not. And honestly I don't care if he is. My point is, if MMLP2 had lyrics similar to the gay references on MMLP then maybe people would stop thinking it is a crime to disagree with homosexuality.
