I'll never understand why they brought in a manager who never won anything for 16 years with his previous club to take Fergies role. Funny though.
It's pretty simple... they didn't wanna ruin the structure of the club & no big manager would deal with it. Bringing young lads from the academy, giving them a chance & trying hard to make 'em part of the team is vital for United & Fergie mastered it in the modern football era.
You probably know United is very very different to the other big clubs if we talk about that.
As a matter of fact it's not them... it's pretty much Fergie himself who brought in Moyes. I know it's too early since any manager in the world could have struggled at United after Fergie but things are definitely bad at this moment.
Moyes has never been a manager at top level football, spent his career at a mid table EPL side so it's obvious he is going to struggle and possibly fail at Man United's level. There is plenty of top managers all over Europe who would of done a better job than Moyes has. I know it's early days but if United fail to qualify for Europe this season, United will have big problems in attracting top level signings and trying to qualify back into Europe. Just look at Liverpool for example, they are only just finding there feet now. United would of normally slaughtered teams like Southampton at home, if results and form carry on I can see a downfall.
