I lost all respect for Macklemore. He completely changed his sound and act like he Wasnt going for mainstream success. The Hiest was trash besides a couple songs.

Actually, his sound didn't change too drastically from The VS EP or Unplanned Mixtape.....this shit happens every time someone who was underground makes it big.

The difference between The Heist and something like Radioactive was Macklemore is able to make a commercial song and not sacrifice who he is as an artist. Yela......not so much.

Heist wasn't some complete overhaul of his sound, people saying that because he blew pretty big and all these teeny boppers love him now.

His sound changed from The Language of my World, because he linked up with Ryan Lewis. But since he linked with Ryan Lewis, his sound didn't change too much. If anything, it sounds the most perfected on The Heist.

It's not Ems fault Yela or Slaughterhouse can't stand on their own. The problem is they can't make a commercial record without sacrificing themselves as artists. There's the difference between someone like J Cole or Kendrick Lamar and artists like Yela/Slaughter.
