I like Rap God and it's dope, but still I don't think it can even compare to something like The Way I Am. He never wasted any lines on stupid shit back in the day, or very rarely. Rap God is dope for about 95% of the time, there's still about 30 seconds of that song he should have cut out IMO.

Lyrical content: 7/10 (It was a dope song, though the content wasn't that great, but still decent)
Flow and delivery: 9/10 (would have been a 10 if not for the random pauses here and there, and a few choppy lines IMO)
Beat: 5/10 (Dope piano and bass line save it from being even lower, synths and sirens ruined it IMO)

Overall: About 7/10

If he cut out 30 seconds, then the "6 minutes slimshady your on" wouldn't of worked

No shit, but that didn't need to be thre, but it makes sense because it's 6 minutes.

I'm starting to wonder if Em has lost his ear for production though. I only enjoyed the production for On Fire, Going Through Changes, Ridaz, Almost Famous, So Bad, Untitled, and I could stand Cold Wind Blows, WTP, Seduction, Space Bound, Session One. So there's about 1/3 of the album where the production was complete crap. Even Encore, which is his worst album probably, had pretty good production throughout.

But if he cut that, just had the guy talking the intro, and cut about 30-40 seconds of weak lines, it'd be an even stronger song IMO.

I still think Cold Wind Blows, On Fire, Going Through Changes, Seduction, Ridaz, Almost Famous, and Untitled are better as songs IMO.

I respect your opinion on all the other things, but how can you group lyrics and content. Lyrics are his wordplay. SWA had some seriously dope wordplay, but no content whatsoever. I agree though, the beat was doo doo.

I feel sorry for you Americans tbh. He's even played seven big outdoor gigs in just three years here in the UK. I've been to both of the Scottish gigs, the Glasgow concert two months ago was fucking amazing.

The pause before cornrows is a good example. It has that Throw It Up type of flow a lot of times. I don't mind when he's in the middle of a though, and bends the word in half to rhyme it, than goes on with the rest of the word for the next rhyme. But he's doing that shit too often now.
