What do you mean? Lol...if you want to complete a multi you need to have matching syllables. But always having multis doesn't mean it's good.

Obviously, but I do think the 'conventional method' of multisyllabic rhymes (or at least teaching it) is to have matching syllables. Of course you can write irregular number of rhymes but it's not like it's part of the same string of rhymes.

And yes, plenty of rappers do that.

I mean yeah the standard way of rhyming is to match the syllables but you don't have to do that. I agree that unless you're an expert you should probably match the syllables because it will probably sound bad but rappers like slug can do it and make it sound organic.


And no, assonance is the repetition of sounds. Like "hungry Harry hates happy Howie"

Yeah that's why I think rappers like Spoonfull are better rhymers than rappers like Hopsin because it's more natural and fluid.

Because 95% of rhymes in rap are slant rhymes. I don't think of it as a slant rhyme I just think of it as a rhyme. Slant rhyming is more for poetry when people rhyme perfectly more often than not.
