http://uk.omg.yahoo.com/news/hes-rap-fi ... 01282.htmlEminem injected a much-needed blast of excitement into hip-hop this month when he premiered his monster track 'Rap God' but it seems no one was more excited to hear the legend's comeback more than DJ Zane Lowe who has hailed the hitmaker as a “rap fiend,” while also placing Em at the head of the table alongside Jay Z and Kanye West.
The Radio 1 DJ caught up with EntertainmentWise backstage at the Relentless Live gig last weekend, where he was co-headlining alongside Professor Green, and he couldn't say enough about Eminem's new single 'Rap God,' which follows on from 'Berzerk' and is also taken from his upcoming album 'Marshall Mathers LP 2.' Echoing the same sentiments as many other hip-hop fans, Zane admits he was left in awe at Em's rhymes once again.

“Eminem is outrageous. I listened to 'Rap God' on my phone with the volume on one but it was in my ear so it was still loud, and my wife was asleep next to me and I was just trying to listen to the song with it in my ear. But I made the mistake of listening to it at 11:30 at night when I was supposed to be going to sleep,” Zane told EntertainmentWise.
“I couldn't go to sleep for like an hour because every time he just kept delivering a line, by the end of it I was so astonished that my blood was rushing. I had 15 minutes where I was like, I don't know what to do now, I was so hyped up from hearing. For him to be able to do that that far into his career and still be that remarkable and that hungry to rhyme.”
Zane then goes on to discuss Eminem's raw love for rapping and his untouchable status in hip-hop after the rapper topped a recent EntWise poll where he was voted the true rap god.
“What I've always love about Eminem through all his success and all his fame. All the awards, the millions of albums sales, everything that's gone through, for better or for worse, the highs and the lows, the one thing that I have personally identified with Eminem more than anything else, because I don't know him, is that he is a rap fiend. He is a rap monster,” Zane continued.
“What's that line, 'Eminem killed you on your own s**t.' You can't get in his way, he's an absolute machine. One thing that I've completely and utterly adored about Eminem is that he loves to rap. He loves getting on the mic and just tearing it down and 'Rap God' is that. Six and a half minutes non-stop. Incredible.”

Speaking about his competition in the game, Zane said: “But there's a table and it's a good table. Drake's at the table, Kanye's at the table, Jay's at the table, Em's at the table, Ross is at the table, Em's at the table. Kendrick's reserved his place at the table and Outkast their names will always be at the table but right now Big Boi's the only name in the seat.
"It's a good table and we've been blessed with good rappers and Eminem to this day is one of the greats.”
