Haha. Imagine the video when he does the supersonic speed.

I love rap god and admittedly have it on replay a lot, and it only builds my anticipation for the album. I just hope he also toys around with his "slower flows." I love listening to the songs when he would almost talk you through his stories. :flutter:

Where I tried to say I take seven kids from Columbine
Put 'em all in a line, add an AK-47, a revolver and a nine
See if I get away with it now that I ain't as big as I was

I feel like this part of Rap God has a lot of truth and he is really spilling his guts here.

I feel he enjoys fucking around with rap and making playful music (relapse etc)
But he still feels he has some responsibility and wants to share his problems and maybe be able to help people as he did on Not Afraid.

He cant fucking wait for someone to get at him. He really does his best when he gets put in a corner and has to defend himself. All his best work comes from this, even though most of it is from angry mobs who want to shut him down. His diss records is pretty awesome aswell.
I also believe he isn't allowed (by himself or someone else) to start shit, so it kills him a little inside.

And then theres this whole segment. It pretty much speaks for it self.
He loves the controversy and is eager to test if he can get in trouble once again. Funny enough none seems to have had a problem with this line. The fags probably went ape shit over other stuff before getting this far into the song lol.

Rap God for me is like 8.5-9/10 IMO. Its an awesome track, and from a technical perspective is absolutely amazing. Yet I like other Eminem songs a lot more-for instance, Role Model is a really lyrical song-not as complex as RG but that actually makes it better. Its easier to understand in one listen and you don`t have to look as deep for hidden meanings-from a musical standpoint it just sounds better to me. You can`t even compare the production-Role Model>>>>>>RG. The same goes for Lose Yourself-theres a better balance of technical skill and musical appeal imho. Its still complex enough to make you feel how dope it is, but not so overly done that musical appeal is lost. Just my opinion, I`m sure he`ll have other tracks that balance this out better, RG served a great purpose-it IS a great track and still plenty fun to listen to, and it shut up a lot of ignorant people thinking Em was completely washed up.

Menzo wrote:Eminem hates censorship, he's said it since '99. I don't doubt lines like the blurred out Columbine ones made him angry and especially nowadays, where it means nothing to anyone anymore so to him it's probably a big "what the fuck" moment because they restricted his artistry for, what turned out to become, no reason.

Agreed.

One line I hate them for censuring was the "my english teacher wanted to fuck me in juniour high.
Only problem was, my teacher was a guy"

That line is awesome and I rememeber hearing it somewhere, laughing my ass off.
