Burning dvd question

i think i asked this a long ass time ago but i never figured it out......ok my computer has a dvd burner and it works to like copy dvds or w/e but how do u burn downloaded videos like video's u play on window's media player like music videos,etc. or something u would download from here......cause on my dvd burning program theres an option to burn video files from ur computer but the videos dont show up when i search for them.....what i think it is, is the video's have to be a certain type of file cause beside the icon that says burn dvd video files it says (*.bup,*.Vob,*.ifo) if someone can help please do cause this is pissing me off! lol my burning program is Nero start smart by the way...thanks if ya can help!

i have no problem with that..maybe its the program u click on after u open nero startsmart. i have the program too and im fine. heres how i do it:

1. open nero startsmart
2. make sure the top-middle of the program says cd/dvd
3. go to photo and video
4. click on make your own dvd-video(another program will open up)
5. click on add video files
6. make sure files of type says "all supported video files"
7. find video
8. click open

the rest u should be able to do. i dont need to convert it to a vob or anything like that. try updating your nero startsmart. if u have any questions just ask me but it should work

when i go to photo and video here are my options to click on - Make video Cd,make super video Cd, and burn dvd video files.......now the first 2 are for a cd-R and i got video to go on there before but the cd's only play back on my computer and not my dvd player when i want them to play on my dvd player....ok so the only option left is burn dvd video files and when i bring up the program and click search ,my videos arnt there so i change the settings to all files and then my videos come up but when i click on them to add to the burning list a pop-up comes up and says "No compatibal file found" so can ya help me now ? lol by the way i have blank dvds n cds but like i said the cds wont work on my dvd player

i have no clue cause i never use it since i cant get it to work...i got this computer last x-mas and the program was on there and when i get on theres nothing about an update that pops up but do u know where i could get an update if i need it?

u can download either one but i deleted it because its a demo and idk if u want the demo or the full version. its up to u on whethere u want the demo or the full one

dont have one ..................whats the difference with the demo cause i can get that to work......................also can u download the full version on the Nero's home page?

im not sure what the full difference is but it probably only works for 30 days or something. u can download the full version on the homepage if u wanna pay for it
