Regarding This Thread

I know we moved this to Shady Chit-Chat, so the rules about what constitutes spam are a little more relaxed. However, this thread has gotten out of hand, so the rules are going to have to tighten up on it. You guys had your chances, and you've fucked it up several times.

Shady Chit-Chat is more relaxed, but the forum rules still apply. I will be considering 1 day bans as a timeout for members who are spamming uncontrollably (and I've already given out several), and I will be asking the other moderators to do the same thing in addition to the usual points.

As the Fake Link Threads states, posting a misleading link can result in 1 week+ of bans. Obviously there will be some discretion by the mods on this, however.

I'll re-open this thread in half an hour.

Move this back to the Em section, and go all Soviet Union on anyone posting off topic. It's quite obvious that if it was only new members with lower post-counts and no 'friends' on this forum spamming, that the thread would be a lot more heavily moderated. The very fact that vets, old members, and even moderators are spamming highlights the relative hypocrisy of this board at times.

Just be stricter and everyone will get the memo. No one wants a one-week ban in the build-up to leak/release day.

In any case, the fact that Monster if being released soon probably opens up another potential loop-hole for leakers.

i noticed san antonio's 98.5 fm has been on a crazy em run today. there was a whole block of just shady around lunchtime. maybe its a sign? something has to happen soon
