I don't think he REALLY did, at least, I don't remember him ever saying that he made the New Slaves beat, but he is credited for at least having a hand in it at some point, along with all the other Yeezus songs. I do know from the Zane interview though that he doesn't wanna go back to making beats on his own, he's more of a team guy now. Going off by memory.

He didn't took it 100%, really. It's actually far from it.
But to think that MBDTF, WTT, 808, CSummer and Yeezus are going to be quoted when people name him one of the greatest producers of all time while he actually had an entourage working with him on those albums bother me a little bit

Yeah, it's kind of annoying. Kanye used to make entire albums where he produced every single track pretty much on his own. Now he's just one name in a handful of producers and contributors.

It is an exaggerated album, and not to everyone's tastes, but when you peel back the surface layer and actually look at what is being said in relation to the sounds you hear, there is a lot more to it than meets the eye.

1) I don't care about those hipsters reviews
2) You don't understand it, it's not for everyone... Common thinks that Ye stans say to hide the pile of shit Yeezus is
3) Are you sure you want to talk about lyrics in a Eminem vs Kanye conversation?

I think that's because Kanye's more concerned with the end sound, rather than him sitting around messing with a drum loop for hours, cause I'm sure there's been many-a-moons where he's been stumped cause he doesn't know what to do with it. I remember someone on KTT calling Ye more of a composer now than a producer, and I guess you could say that.

More like a conductor, I guess, as he coordenates people who actually compose

Also accurate, since I would assume he's in the room the entire time during the process.

Yea, more of a conductor. Looking back now, although some of the beats he made were classics and full of soul, he was more of a hip-hop beatmaker rather than say a fully-fledged producer or composer who is able to make beautiful chord progressions. Now that he's looking to broaden his sound and take it outside the genre he kind of has to work with composers.

Why would I praise a website/magazine by saying something it's good?
If I like it, I like it, that's all the reviews I need

It's cool to see though. I mean, you would've never expected the guy who made College Dropout to make it this far and grow THAT much.

He's also a great characther. It will be nice to follow his next years. He's still passionate and has a lot of dreams and goals he really wants to accomplish not only music wise, since he says he wans to contribute to many aspects of our society
Even the bullshit like his releationship with the papparazis will be nice to follow, lol
