Welcome! Yeah, it looks like we might not get it until November. Luckily for me, I plan on buying a copy first day, so I'm set either way. Though I wouldn't be mad if I got to hear it early. Makes me wonder though.. why the secrecy with MMLP2? I think there's some shit on the album that is gonna blow us away when we listen to it on release day. It seems like they want to let the music do the talking for itself, which means they're VERY confident in what Em has this round. It's interesting. That means, Em has some serious heat on this album and Rap God probably isn't even the tip of the iceberg.

This whole thing was sketchy from the beggining, all that secrecy. I think i will be scared to play this at first lol.

They're playing this extremely well. I mean think about it. Usually albums leak by now. But this hasn't. Why? Also.. There's been pretty much no interviews except Em doing the football thing. Adding onto that, they've released Survival, Berzerk, Rap God, and now The Monster is about to be released soon too. They haven't said a peep about the album besides that RS interview where we got a snippet of what Em said. And Em said, he's been working as hard as he did back in 2002, which speaks volumes when you consider all that's going on right now. He said that it'll be a revisit, not a sequel to all the songs on the first MMLP... and that's what people are forgetting. If HE'S saying this, then there's a reason why we've heard Survival first, then Berzerk, then Rap God. Think about it, if Rap God was done in 2012.. why didn't he drop that as a single first? They know more than we give them credit for, and that's why they have "#TrustShady" and "Shady vs. Everybody" in people's minds. They know what they have on them.. and they're extremely confident about it too. Especially calling it MMLP2. If they didn't feel that this album was THE shit, they wouldn't name it that, they're not stupid.

Here's something to consider... everyone's been tripping over Survival being on the album... but what if it fits perfectly into the concept Em's aiming for? In Rap Guy, as someone pointed out, during the Columbine line, he said "Mathers LP 1", and that was recorded in 2012. Who knows when those lyrics were written? Point is, he had that song floating around for a while, meaning he knew to some extent at the time he was working towards a MMLP2. That being the case, why did he drop Survival first? Why does Survival sound different than Berzerk and Rap God? If he's spent 3 years working on it, why would these songs not sound cohesive? I think that was intentional, if he's been working his ass off for 3 years he definitely knows what he's doing. Who's to say the Survival we heard is the final version in the sense of, there's no skit after it on the album or something like that? We have no idea, Em could've done anything. I'm just an optimist though.

Same, but the wait'll be worth it. Can't wait to walk into HMV on the morning of November 5th and pick up MMLP2. It'll probably be a busy day, considering COD: Ghosts come out the same day too pretty sure, that's why I'm going early. Most people pick up COD games at midnight, so hopefully it won't be much mayhem in the AM.
