He does the best he can. Kanye West does make a difference to people. I'm a fashion designer and he has indeed opened my eyes to some things. He's superbly intelligent. I don't think you digested much of what I said as you haven't really made any new points. He isn't being the least bit inspirational. He is using his skin colour and the subject of racism as a tool to gain sympathy for himself while he enjoys the high life, not giving a single flying fuck about the millions of poor, impoverished African-Americans in the underclass you like to think he is speaking for. He talks as if his life has been profoundly affected by racism, like he really experienced the struggle, when he had a pretty normal upbringing and went to art college. I'm having to repeat myself now, but if he cared so much and wanted to be an inspirational figure in the fight against racism, as you claim he is, he would be out there putting his money where his big mouth is and dedicating his time to the cause, but he isn't. It's all about him and his ego-driven tirades. And for the record I have a lot of respect for him as a producer, but I will always call a spade a spade (no Kanye that's not a racist slur).

A few rambling, incoherent, ego-driven speeches here and there is not what I call inspirational. Back in the day when he was making Jesus Walks and Diamonds from Sierra Leone I could respect him for addressing important issues from a selfless, genuine perspective. Now he's on the verge of becoming a walking parody, and it's both embarrassing and false.
