So, can this forum lock out guests when this thing actually drops, as a way to minimize crashes?

Anytime a sports team I hate loses a heartbreaking game, I like to visit their fan forums and read the fan reactions for a good chuckle, but a lot of forums are hip to that and close off their forums to guests for like two days until the pain of the loss subsides.
