Lol MBDTF > Thriller

MJ didn't even write all his own songs.

MBDTF is a great album, but better than MMLP? No way.

And no TES? :facepalm

Back To Black is a great album. But holy fuck I just looked at the top 100 and saw Led Zep don't have a single album on there. Wtf is that about. No Pink Floyd, Guns N' Roses or Queen either. Weird list.

Producers and features account for most of those credits.

Yeah and 4-5 for most Eminem songs.

Of course songs using a lot of samples, instrumentals and guest verses are going to have more writers. Kanye West still wrote the lyrics he rapped. MJ didn't always write the lyrics he sung.

bigray wrote:Well I'm not only taking about mbdtf, I know what I said about mbdtf and thriller but you brought up that mj doesn't write all of his songs, that's why I said kanye doesn't either.

I meant on Thriller, the album we were talking about.

And can you prove Kanye has ghost writers? Which album/song specifically?

But what does that have to do with anything? Nobody would argue that Eminem doesn't write his own songs but he lists a lot of writers too. All artists do this unless they write the instrumentals/guest verses/samples too.

Well maybe I thought Eminem having 4-5 writing credits was relevant to the discussion. How about that?

MBDTF is a great album but in no way is it better than MMLP...

MBDTF is Kanye whining about how fucked up the world is towards black and the racial oppression and the dramas of fame ahhhh such challenging topics to tackle

they don't compare to what Eminem had to say for himself on MMLP.

That's not at all what MBDTF is about lmao.

Obviously MMLP is better though.

i would attempt to listen to and review MBDTF, but i'm afraid i wouldn't be able to switch my bias feelings off.. i've got no love for kanye at all. his over inflated ego ruins the chance of me ever feeling his shit, and like people have said, "no led zep".. list isn't credible

This list pretty much calls Eminem's catalogue extremely impressive compared to other rappers in the genre. One of the few with multiple albums on the list.

And people like you are complaining.
