Most artists do weeks of interviews all across the country to promote their albums, obviously eminem doesnt have to do that... but appearances, radio interviews/freestyles, etc.. i guess a commercial at the vmas is huge but back in the day em used to make his rounds to the radio stations and mtg/bet to promote.
