Why do people keep saying "berzerk' and "survival" didnt create a buzz, yes they did. they most likely had this all figured out ahead of time. The opinions on the forum is not the general consensus lol. Most people do in fact like survival and berzerk, and they did their parts in generating buzz for the album. I dont think anyone expected berzerk to hit number 1 like not afraid did. They dropped Rap God, not because of how berzerk or suvival performed, (which wasnt badly btw) but because it was part of their promotion plan.

I liked the songs personally but they just didn't do as well as his last album. That's all we're saying. They were playing Not Afraid at fucking stadiums. It became an anthem. Now you can't duplicate that kind of success, obviously, or he would be doing that every album.

But compared to some of his other stuff, those two songs fell short of reaching critical mass. Those single sales were largely his stan base and not new listeners. Berzerk did 1 mill sold off of stans.

I don't know any non-stan who is playing either of those songs -- but anyone who's up on hip hop knows about Rap God because it was a bomb drop.

Idk if this has been said yet and I'm not about to rummage through these pages, but the track lengths have been released on Wikipedia. Excluding "parking lot (skit)" not one song is less than 4 minutes. "Bad Guy" is 7 minutes long o

It was a brilliant choice to put her on the record. We'll know in a few hours whether she needed to be on Monster or if it was just a grab for more listeners.

That would be SO dope. I'd flip if the first thing I heard on MMLP2 was a PSA 2013.

Guys, I can't believe that after tonight we'll have already heard four songs from a new Eminem album and he named his album Marshall Mathers LP 2 AND it's here!!!! We will get to hear it all within the next 48 hours. Monster coming out tonight will make it even easier to wait for the leak. Enjoy this last little bit of hype we have before the leak cause then we'll just be left to enjoy and discuss the album. Then probably start getting greedy for more new music in like a month hahaha.
