LOL @ the people who thought this was going to be a darker song. It's even more pop than LTWYL. I don't know wtf Em is doing with this album. The only thing dark, gritty and reminiscient of MMLP is the cover. :shakehead:

No, what's bothering me is how pop this sounds, how generic this song is, how it follows the same formula as LTWYL. Shit he even almost flows couple places in this song as he does in LTWYL. This song on MMLP2? Meh.

To those saying "it's a song with Rihanna, what did you expect?" I expected something better than this. Didn't they say it was a dark song? Excuse me for sounding like that one member, but what happened to songs with substance? This is just some generic shit. Nothing with this song screams "straight hip-hop" as Eminem claimed he would go back to with MMLP2.

I don't hate the song. I am just disappointed in Em for making something like this.

I fully expect an artist to grow as their career continues. At the age of 25, I can say that Eminem's music has matured with me except for Relapse. Relapse seemed to be an attempt to recapture The Slim Shady LP. In 1999, I was 11, the wacky lyrics were great. At this age, I can't stand hearing the SSLP. I personally think Recovery to be his best album to date. I also really enjoy his collaborations with pop artists, it's progressive.

The only thing this forum wants is something to bitch about. I saw a topic where someone was hoping Eminem would do more experimenting on MMLP2, do you not remember Encore? (I also enjoy Encore but that's beside the point) You all regard Encore as his worst album. That was Eminem experimenting with flows, concepts, and beats.
