Eminem of old would laugh from the deepest of his stomach if someone tried to hand him this beat. Beat ruins it for me, i can understand the pop element being necessary to sell records…..but seriously?? Lyrics are decent but sloppy. In no way is this a "revisitation" to any part of the marshall mathers lp.

I honestly don't like the song, but it doesn't worry me about the album and I don't see why it would. Recently, Em singles haven't been the best stuff on the album, and so far, 2 out of 4 tracks are really enjoyable to me.

It's unfortunate to think that Em put Survival on this for Call of Duty and Monster for radio play, cause I'm willing to bet that the track with Sia and Jamie N Commons will be better. That's my main issue with this.

The Monster could have been so much better, while still keeping the radio feel to it. The lyrics in the hook are actually dark but for some reason I feel like I could dance to it. I don't feel like Em says much at all in this song either, like he just threw this together.. Idk for what it is, a catchy radio single, it's not bad.

I disagree. Lyrically he's on top of his game. He fused rap with artistic music

When I bump Recovery (and yes, I still listen to Recovery) I skip WBD, WTP, and LTWYL

I still love the shit out of that album. When I play Eminem show I skip When The Music Stops, Hailie's Song, and Drips on occasion. That's still my favorite Em album of all time.

If you don't like certain songs, feel free to skip them. Let's not try to use Monster, or Survival, or whatever else, to decide how good the rest of the album is gonna be.

Your opinion on the song should only affect that song, not carry over into songs on the album we have yet to hear.
